Future Titans help Tweed to top of Mal Meninga Cup

The Tweed Seagulls have asserted their dominance across the regular season of the Mal Meninga Cup, finishing as minor premiers of the Under 19 Queensland competition.

The side - which features 11 Future Titans - have remained undefeated across their nine round matches, and will now enjoy a well-deserved week off as the first round of semi-finals commence this weekend.

Whilst the Seagulls may not be in action this weekend, there will still be a number of Future Titans who will have everything to play for as teams positioned three to six play in all-important play-off finals this weekend.

This will include Burleigh - who have four contracted players in action - to host Wynnum Manly on Saturday; meanwhile Ipswich will face the Mackay Cutters on Sunday - Caelys Putoko part of the Jets squad.

Tweed will be in action next weekend, playing for the chance to qualify for the grand final in the first season of the expanded competition.
