Cartwright looking for improvement

iSelect Titans Head Coach John Cartwright is looking for his side to up the ante in tomorrow night's second trial match against the Broncos at Dolphin Oval, Redcliffe.

Following on from a strong opening trial match win against the Warriors last weekend, Cartwright said he was hoping for his side to continue to improve in what marks the club's second hit-out for season 2013.

Against the Broncos, Cartwright will welcome a host of senior players into the mix for the first time in 2013 - headlined by new recruit David Taylor.

"That was the sort of player we were looking to target when he first came on the market,'' said Cartwright of Taylor.

"He can take the pressure of our halves, provide the Gordon's and the Mead's and ZIllman's with a bit of space and that's the sort of role he's used to and if he can bring that to us it will bring those players into the game.''
