Luke Douglas and Anthony Don first met as 12-year-olds at Yamba Nippers and they were in familiar territory again yesterday as part of the NRL's Community Carnival.
Douglas (Yamba) and Don (Grafton) retraced their roots to talk to students from St Joseph's Woodburn about anti-bullying messages, and share personal stories from their own schooldays.
The local products also spent time talking to students about the road to the NRL, which may lead to yet another Northern Rivers product running onto Skilled Park for the Titans in the future.
