After two tries in the weekend's opening trial against the Warriors, Mark O'Dare has his eyes on a full-time contract with the iSelect Titans.
Having made the switch from Rugby Union in the off-season, O'Dare says despite a steep learning curve he is starting to find his feet in the new code.
"It was good experience to get out there and it was hard but I felt like I went alright and I feel like I'm learning the game better, and let's see how I go this week if I get a go this week in the next trial," said O'Dare.
The flyer is working with iSelect Titans halves coach Mat Rogers, a former dual international, around the different challenges that league presents and O'Dare said the education was helping immensely.
"Mat Rogers has been working really closely with me and has helped me on my defensive work and learning the patterns and it's going really well."
