Hometown hero Sam Irwin returned to his former stomping ground today as the iSelect Titans headed out and about for a range of community visits in Darwin.
iSelect Titans hooker Irwin, who is a junior of the Nightcliff Dragons club in Darwin, joined a group of youngsters for a coaching clinic at the Palmerston Raiders junior rugby league club, while other Titans players spent time at a separate coaching clinic at Litchfield and others attended a juvenile detention centre.
Titans forward Ashley Harrison became a guest reporter for Titans TV for the day and caught up with Irwin to ask what it was like to be back in his hometown ahead of Saturday night’s clash against the Panthers in Darwin.
Later in the day, the Titans hosted a group of women from the Northern Territory Rugby League for a lunch at the team’s hotel.
