Is there nothing that former Dally M Medal winner and Titans favourite in their initial years, Preston Campbell, can’t do?

Presto has teamed up with musically talented Titans 4 Tomorrow workmates to write and produce a rap song with lyrics that are dedicated to inspire and encourage the organisation’s young Indigenous participants across the T4T programs.

This was Campbell’s first rap performance, yet that didn’t seem to affect the former NRL great, with Preston thriving off the opportunity to produce something special for the program participants he inspires himself every day.

“We wanted to write a song for our participants to show our appreciation, as they are the reason we love our jobs so much,” he said.

“Kids love music and they see all the messages. They don't just listen to the beat and rhythm, they actually listen to the words of the music and you see a lot of them, they emulate the songs that they hear. If we could get a positive song out there hopefully they can emulate the words that we're saying.

“It has always been something I have wanted to do for the organisation and our participants, so with the help and guidance from some of my fellow work mates we were able to make it happen, with the end product turning out to be far greater than anything I was expecting”.

The rap song titled ‘4Tomorrow’ has since become the theme song for the non-for-profit organisation and now features a first-rate film clip to accompany the production.

The song has been entirely written and performed by Titans 4 Tomorrow staff Preston Campbell, Morgan Kingi, Amy Billings, Clinton Toopi and Kyel Dancey; produced by Richard Parker R&D Records and filmed and edited on the Gold Coast by Titans 4 Tomorrow staff Amy Billings and Richard Azzopardi.

Morgan was in the Girls Academy at Tweed River High and completed year 12 last year and applied for a traineeship in T4T which sees her doing a Certificate III in community services. She is also a talented vocalist.

Kyel is in a band called DieVsCity while Amy, who filmed and edited the track, performs from Brisbane to the north coast of NSW as Amy Sharks and several of her tracks can be seen on You Tube .

“When we talk about changes and the differences that we're making, we're not talking about the big things; it's the small things like attitude, behaviour, boost in confidence in these young ones,” added Campbell.

“We've been in it for three years now and we're already seeing changes in young ones. If they improve their attitude and their confidence then you're going to see a result at school.

“If we can reach more and spend more time with them we can make a big difference to what goes on in society.”

Click on the link and share the song to as many people as you can because you will be sharing not just a great song, but a symbol of the difference Titans 4 Tomorrow is doing in the communities and a clear message that our young Indigenous people can make a difference.
