The Gold Training Gold Coast under-20s will field four more NYC newcomers against South Sydney at North Sydney Oval on Saturday (1pm kick-off).

With Tyrone Roberts-Davis (hip flexor) the latest to join a long injury list, it is another opportunity for some emerging young players to show their talent after an understrength side took runaway leaders Penrith in their last game.

Debuting are wingers Jordan Birch and Fred Kiel Coach, halfback Alexander (AJ) Brimson and interchange forward Kobe Tararo.

"We have a few injuries to key guys; with back-rowers and outside backs we're a lttle bit light on","Woolf said.

"But the guys who have been coming in have been doing a good job and we have all the faith in the guys coming in this week. It's a good opportunity for them to make their mark.

Our NYC side have seven players who were chosen in the first round’s top 17 but are now unavailable through injury – Roberts-Davis, Brayden McGrady, Josh Fauid, Greg Leleisiuao, Morgan Boyle, Jed Cartwright, Sam Swift – plus Shane Wright who would have been but for a shoulder injury.
