Recruit from across the ditch, Konrad Hurrell, has been included in an 18-man Aquis Gold Coast Titans squad to play South Sydney at nib Stadium in Perth on Sunday (6.30pm Qld time, 4.30pm local).

Tyrone Roberts (corked thigh) and David Shillington (shoulder) look to have overcome their injuries and will embark on a 10-day road trip to Perth and Darwin where the Titans take on Parramatta Eels the following Saturday.

The Titans will travel with 20 players, with the rest of the squad to be decided later in the week, with Greg Bird’s fitness to be checked after tomorrow night’s appearance for NSW in State of Origin I.

Sunday’s match will be prop Luke Douglas’ 250th in the NRL, which makes him the most experiencedTitans player ahead of Nathan Friend (231), David Shillington (212) and Greg Bird (223).
