Co-captain William Zillman is expected to overcome his foot injury that kept him out Sunday’s clash with Canberra Raiders and return to the Aquis Titans side to play the Warriors in Auckland this Saturday (5pm NZ, 3pm EST).

That means Josh Hoffman, who went back to fullback with Zillman and David Mead absent against the Raiders, will return to the left centre position and Leivaha Pulu will start again in the back row.

Chris McQueen, who shifted to left centre on Sunday, has been chosen to fill the other centre spot in Auckland.

Eddy Pettybourne, whose game was restricted to 13 minutes on Sunday before going to the head bin in the first minute of the second half, is recovering well from the head knock and is confident of being cleared to play.

Co-captain Nathan Friend, who returns to Auckland to take on his former team on Saturday, announced this morning he is retiring at the end of the season.
