Greg Bird will return from his one-match suspension for the Aquis Gold Coast Titans side in their Round 21 clash with the table-topping Cronulla Sharks at Cbus Super Stadium on Monday night.

The return of the experienced Bird comes at a crucial time as the Titans look to put an end to Cronulla’s 15-match winning streak which started with their win over the Titans in Round 6.

Utility Ryan Simpkins will come onto the bench for injured co-captain Nathan Friend who sustained a hamstring injury in last week’s 34-14 win over the Parramatta Eels.

Simpkins has been in good form playing for Tweed Seagulls in the Intrust Super Cup and has earned the call-up for his fourth NRL game this season.
