Our Gold Training under-20s coach hopes to have Junior Kangaroos backs Brian Kelly and John Olive in his side together for the first time this season when his side travels to Townsville for the final round clash against North Queensland.

The young Titans are out of finals contention but after being beaten by just two points by minor premiers Penrith last weekend, they go to the tropics confident they can test the second-placed Cowboys.

They went there for the last round clash last season and came away with an upset victory to finish the season.

“It’s good to have Brian, who has been injured, and John, who played last week for Tweed in the Intrust Super Cup, playing together,” Woolf said.

“It’s a pity it took so long because of injury but they can hopefully finish off the season well.

“We also had Morgan Boyle come back from a long lay-off with injury last weekend, so we’ll field a strong side.”

Olive, who hurt his shoulder during training with the Junior Kangaroos in May, has had three games back – two in the Holden Cup and one in the Intrust Super Cup.
