Season highlight 8 for the year is the Round 23 golden-point victory over the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium.
In his first game starting at five-eighth, Jarryd Hayne played a strong hand throughout the match, having his hand in two of the tries and kicking the winning field goal with just 20 seconds left on the clock.
The quickest try of the season was scored just after kick-off with a lot of fumbling resulting in centre Kevin Naiqama coming up with the ball and sprinting 30m to score next to the uprights after just 52 seconds of play. With the conversion successful and a penalty goal soon after, it was the Tigers out to an early 8-nil lead.
The Titans first points came in the 20th minute when off the back of a Hayne break, the side continued down field and winger Anthony Don was able to go over and score. That was backed up in the 28th minute when Josh Hoffman scored off a smart Ash Taylor grubber. Neither try was converted, with the scores level at 8-all.
A penalty goal to the Tigers broke the deadlock but Don was able to score his second try of the afternoon which put the Titans back in front 12-10 at the half-time break.
A 54th minute intercept by flyer Nene Macdonald saw him go 90m untouched to score and extend the lead out to 18-10.
Tigers winger David Nofoaluma bagged a double with 10 minutes and after scoring out wide, neither try could be converted, levelling the scores at 18-all.
With just 20 seconds remaining, Hayne demaded the ball and received it, before hammering home a field goal, much to the delight of his team-mates and all Titans members and fans to record a 19-18 victory.
