Kane Elgey sat on the sidelines feeling like an outsider in 2016 following a season-ending knee injury in pre-season training. Now, he can't wait to begin pre-season again with hopes of picking up where he left off in 2015.
Elgey, a passionate supporter of community initiatives on the Gold Coast, was on hand to support this morning's Stand Up to Domestic Violence Paddle Boarding event at Currumbin.
The halfback wasn't able to join Neil Henry, Karl Lawton and Max King on the water after finishing off his latest tattoo earlier this week prevented him from getting in, however he gladly spoke with fans and media about what he is hoping for in 2017.
