Titans players Ryan James, Nathan Peats, Ash Taylor, Nathan Davis and Tyrone Roberts have been shortlisted for a place in the NRL Indigenous All Stars side for their annual match versus the NRL World All Stars.

James was the club's 2016 Paul Broughton Medallist for player of the year, crossing for a new NRL record of 12 tries by a prop in one season.

Taylor was the NRL Rookie of the Year following his breakout season with the club, while Roberts was the side's top point-scorer.

Davis made his NRL debut in round one of 2016 and went on to play eight games in the top grade showing great potential for the former Australian Schoolboys representative.

Peats continues to push for a NSW Origin position and will be a key part of the side's spine in 2017 alongside the likes of Taylor, Kane Elgey and Jarryd Hayne.

Online public voting for the Indigenous All Stars team is underway, with voting open until 3.00pm Friday, December 2 for fans to help select a 20-man squad.

The team will be announced in early December, with the All Stars fixture set down for Friday, February 10, at Newcastle’s McDonalds Jones Stadium.
