Gold Training NYC Coach Ben Woolf has rated last weekend’s round seven 24-20 victory over the Broncos as the best of the season and after notching up three in a row, there is no reason why they can’t make it four.

The young Titans trailed 20-6 at half-time on Good Friday and despite losing both Corey Manicaros and Apiata Noema prior to half-time, the side managed to get back into the match and bring home the two points.

“When I spoke to the guys at half-time I stressed that if we get back into it through an even share of possession, we’d definitely give ourselves a chance,” Woolf said.

“After we lost the two guys early, both Tyler Ingram and Zae Wallace were good on debut and played longer minutes than they would have thought.

I really think AJ Brimson and Ethan Roberts stood-up in the second half and really controlled the game. That’s what we are after from them.”

The Titans take on the Sharks this Saturday afternoon at Southern Cross Group Stadium and with the Sharks currently sitting in the top four, Woolf knows the task that is in front of them.

“They will be tough, they’ve had a number of good wins so far this year and have a fair amount of confidence, so it’ll be tough but we’ll be going down there looking for the win.
