The Gold Coast Titans today handed over a record donation to White Ribbon Australia.

The $24,000 gift is the single largest donation through Queensland White Ribbon.

Titans CEO Graham Annesley said the money was raised at the Titans Charity Ball in July through the generosity of the club's supporters and members.

"This shows the true heart of the Gold Coast and the Titans community,"  he said.

"Domestic violence is a sad but widespread problem in our society and the Titans are proud to support White Ribbon's efforts to raise awareness about the issue."

The money will be put to a variety of White Ribbon initiatives including the organisation's schools program.

The White Ribbon Schools Program will be extended to Gold Coast and Tweed schools next year after a successful pilot at Varsity College this year.

Titans GM of Football Manager Anthony Laffranchi was on hand to make the announcement to White Ribbon representative Dean Gould at Gold FM's Stand Up Against Dimestic Violence event at Currumbin Creek today.

Dean said it was humbling and inspiring to see such support for White Ribbon, a community organisation striving to make domestic violence a men's issue too.

National White Ribbon Day is November 25.
