New Head of Performance, Hayden Knowles, is two weeks into his new position on the Gold Coast and has been impressed with everything that the club has to offer.

Whether it be the TFH High Performance Centre, the playing group, or the Gold Coast in general, Knowles speaks on behalf of all the staff when talking about the exciting times ahead.

“The facility is world class,” he said. “Whoever built this and did the deal should be commended.”

With a range of testing and basic training starting over the past week, the former Roosters trainer has been impressed with the attitude of the 2018 playing group.

“We are going to work on the fundamentals of the games and show it the respect it deserves. We’ll be training and working hard.”

After what was a challenging year with injury in 2017, it will be Knowles who works closely with the playing group and the rest of the coaching staff to ensure the group are prepared for battle as best as they can be for the gruelling season.

“If we take care of everything and take no shortcuts, I believe the rest will take care of itself.”
