Social Distancing Plan

SOCIAL DISTANCING ACTION PLAN

The Gold Coast Titans are committed to providing our valuable Members with the best match day experience. In particular, we know how important seating is to our Members.

Throughout the 2021 season the Gold Coast Titans were forced to re-locate one home game away from Cbus Super Stadium and play one home game ‘behind closed’ doors. Members were incredibly supportive and understanding of the necessary changes.

While it is not yet known whether social distancing and other Government guidelines will be in place in 2022, we have developed a Social Distancing Action Plan in line with the current Queensland Government roadmap to easing restrictions. As at 24 September 2021, some restrictions remain in place, with an industry framework for COVID Safe events in effect. This framework provides guidance on what can be committed to if the same level of restrictions apply at the commencement of the 2022 NRL Telstra Premiership Season.

The plan outlines key information including ticket redemption processes and proposed seating areas for our various Membership categories if social distancing guidelines remain in place. The plan is based on feedback from our Members and draws on experience gained throughout the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

The information provided below is applicable to our 2022 NRL Premiership games played at the Cbus Super Stadium.

MEMBERS ARE OUR PRIORITY

Should the QLD Government continue to enforce social distancing measures and venues to operate with reduced capacities:

2022 Gold Coast Titans Members will be prioritised over all others to attend home games.

2022 Membership cards and assigned reserved seats will be replaced by complimentary Ticketmaster tickets within re-allocated reserved seating based on several factors:

  • Whether (if eligible to do so) you nominate to attend the match
  • Your Membership number
  • Your 2022 Membership seating category

We are committed to providing all Members with seating as commensurate with their regularly allocated seat (if a renewing Member) or within the seating category purchased as part of a 2022 ticketed Membership for new Members.

It’s important that current Members continue to renew their reserved seats regardless of any foreseeable social distancing measures, as these will be important when all COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, and all Members can return to the regularly allocated seat.

UNFULFILLED MATCHES

If the Gold Coast Titans cannot provide Members with access to all the 2022 NRL Telstra Premiership home matches included in Membership packages, we will apply our Membership Compensation Policy.
