Hes experienced all the highs and lows a rugby league player possibly can from the euphoria of winning a Dally M medal to the tragedy of almost taking his own life during a battle with mental illness.

Now Titans 4 Tomorrow ambassador Preston Campbell is using his own experiences with depression to assist other players across the game in a series of mental health workshops being delivered to every club as part of the NRLs State of Mind campaign.

With the assistance of the Black Dog Institute, Campbell today delivered the first of these presentations to some of his former iSelect Titans teammates as he prepares to make an impact on all NRL, NYC and junior representative players.

As a retired player who knows the challenges and issues they face every day, Campbells former Titans teammate William Zillman said the campaign was bound to have an impact across the game.
