iSelect Titans players today made the most of their scheduled day off by hitting the high seas to take part in an America's Cup style sailing experience on Auckland Harbour.
Two weeks after trying their hand at sailing on the Gold Coast Broadwater in smaller 4-man boats, the Titans took to the water on an authentic America's Cup Yacht as the build-up to the Auckland Nines continued.
Experienced prop Bailey wasn't expecting to take part in the Auckland Nines and was preparing to return home to Australia on Friday with the remainder of the Titans squad who have been in camp in New Zealand since last Sunday.
However, the 34-year-old said he was thrilled to have received the call-up from Coach John Cartwright for the inaugural tournament.
The team finalises it's preparations for the Nines with a training tomorrow morning before Saturday's tournament kicks off.
