The iSelect Gold Coast Titans want to make it more affordable for fans to attend Cbus Super Stadium this season and today announced several ticketing changes – including the opportunity for every child to attend free with a paying adult.

A large proportion of the eastern grandstand will hopefully be transformed into a popular family area with each child 14 years and younger admitted free, if accompanied by an adult who could attend for $25 to $57, depending on the opposition team and position in the stand.

Also, far more of the southern stand has been opened up as general admission seating, allowing entry for more people for just $25 (all matches) for adults, $15 for children or $35 for a family (one adult and one child, or $70 for two adults and two children) and $20 for concession holders.

However, a family can now buy reserve seating in the best part of the eastern stand cheaper than for general admission (non-reserved seats) behind the try-line.

For the second season matches will be ‘seeded’ with A-category clashes against the Rabbitohs, Sea Eagles, Broncos and Bulldogs, B- category against the Cowboys, Warriors and Dragons and C- category being against the Tigers, Panthers, Storm, Raiders and Eels.

The Legion group of die-hard Titans fans will also relocate from the northern stand into the eastern, closer to the halfway line, giving them a more visible, and hopefully intimidating for opposing players, presence at Titans’ home games.

“We want to make our games more accessible and affordable for our fans and to also add atmosphere in the eastern stand,” said CEO Graham Annesley.

“For five of our games this season (v Tigers, Panthers, Storm, Raiders and Eels ) a family of four could attend for just $50, or one adult and a child for $25, and have reserved seats; or just $70 for a family of four for our three ‘blockbuster’ matches. I think that is excellent value.

“Creating loyalty with our fans is important and we want to encourage as many south-east Queensland and northern NSW people as we can to get behind the team this year and make Cbus Super Stadium a place that is renowned for vocal support of our team and a place opposing teams don’t like visiting.”

Tickets for the clash with Wests Tigers on Sunday March 16 are on sale now via Ticketek (phone 132 849).
