Regular centre Brad Takairangi will start in the second row for tonight's clash with Melbourne Storm with James Roberts making his debut for the Titans at right centre.

That means Ben Ridge will drop back to the bench with Ashley Harrison in jersey 21 at lock, and Mark Minichiello and Takairangi the starting back row. The bench will be Ridge, Matt White, Matt Srama and NRL debutant Caleb Binge. Beau Henry will play halfback in place of the injured Albert Kelly.

Will Chambers will return from the Queensland camp where he was a shadow player to start in the centre for the Storm, which means Kurt Mann drops back top fullback and Cameron Munster drops out.

They have some other changes with Junior Moors starting at lock with Jesse Bromwich swapping, and going back to the bench. Jordan McLean is on the bench in place of big George Rose.
