Roberts has shown glimpses of what he is capable of with two good individual tries this season (and another from following a kick) and a great assist for Anthony Don against the Knights last Sunday. Renowned for his pace, it is also his strength and his aggression in defence that is catching the eye. Yet he has seen little space to give an indication of his genuine speed. He is up against the seasoned Tonga who has had a very good season after injury badly affected his first two seasons back at the Eels.

Tonga has played 12 Tests, eight Origin games for Queensland and is in his 13th season in the NRL. He has been consistent this year since overcoming a knee injury and a big influence on the younger players around him. He comes up against the much younger Roberts but has the experience, awareness and still the evasive ability to be a handful for the Titans defence.
