Mini and Robbo take early pleas

In-form Titans players James Roberts and Mark Minichiello have been charged for the lifting tackle on Manly prop Jason King yesterday in the 35^th minute of the match.

However both have taken taken early guilty pleas and will miss suspension.

Both received base 125-point penalties for the grade one dangerous throw but Roberts’ is reduced to 93 with an early plea while Minichiello was eligible for the seven-year incident free discount (25 per cent) so was slugged just 62 points.

This means both are clear to play against the St George Illawarra Dragons at WIN Jubilee Stadium on Sunday but will retain carry-over points.
