‘Bails’ is a player that Father Time has been kind to and his enthusiasm, consistency and agility has not waned greatly over 15 seasons in the NRL. His work rate is outstanding and he often leads the defensive line up ruck after ruck and will back up the next set and take the first play. His stats this year with an average of over 100 running metres and 26 tackles are first class.
De Belin, a Cootamundra kid whose father played for Australia, has Bailey’s professional attitude to the game and has been one of the Dragons’ most consistent. He has natural toughness, can hit hard in defence and does shirk his task in attack by taking the ball up with zest and supports well.
