In terms of beards of world sport it ranks pretty high, but Nate is prepared to lose it all for a good cause!

Nate Myles is urging Titans members and fans to get behind him in the fight to save one of Australia’s most iconic and endangered critters – the Bilby.

Nate has pledged to shave off his trademark beard on Friday to raise money for the ‘Save the Bilby Fund’.

Bilbies are under severe threat, with only an estimated 400 to 600 of the critically endangered species left in Queensland.

Yesterday Nate got up close and personal with the little guys he’s fighting to save at Dreamworld to let the public know how they can help him kick some conservation goals.

You can witness Nate’s beloved beard get shaved off at Queen Street Mall, Brisbane at 12 noon this Friday as part of National Threatened Species Day. Zoos and wildlife parks from around South East Queensland will converge on the mall with a host of snappy and slimy species and feathery and furry friends to encourage the public to get their paws behind the cause.

The Australian King of Hair, Stefan will also be on hand to help Nate farewell his prized beard and will assist in the cut for conservation.

Help Nate to save the bilby and reach his goal of raising $5,000 by sponsoring his shave.
