Agnatius Paasi is a former Warrior who, at 23, gets a chance on the Gold Coast to establish himself in the NRL after following Rohan Smith from Auckland.
Assistant coach Smith, who mentored Paasi last year to become the Warriors' NSW Cup player of the year, knows the prop/second-rower had the talent. 'Iggy', who attended Keebra Park High School, is one of several players who have been given the pre-season trials to prove they are worthy of a contract.
