The Titans NYC squad had an impressive hit out at Clive Burghofer Stadium in Toowoomba on Saturday, beating the Clydesdales A-grade team 44-18.

Earlier the under-18s development squad, bolstered by experience Holden Cup players Deacon Fletcher, Zac Spring and others, beat the Clydesdales under-20s by 58-16.

In the main match, halfback Sam Grant scored two tries and five goals in a fine performance. The other try scorers were Greg Luleisiuao, Christian Meka, Braydon McMahon, Jenan Wedderburn-Parish and Christian Hika.

Coach Ben Woolf spoke to Titans TV about the clashes and the progress of his squad which takes on Tweed Heads Seagulls’ Super Intrust Cup side this Saturday at Piggabeen at 3.30pm.
