Our Gold Training under-20s have had further injury setbacks with centre Jed Cartwright and five-eighth Deacon Fletcher ruled out of Sunday’s clash with the Bulldogs and Brian Kelly in some doubt.
All three were injured in Friday’s narrow loss to Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval along with Max Elliott, which left Ben Woolf’s side undermanned yet again, with just the bare 13 players for the last 10 minutes.
Greg Lelesiuao, the 18-year-old who had been impressive in his two appearances in the under-20s, will wear the No. 1 jersey after playing much of the Tigers match there, with Shaun Hudson moving to the centres.
Daniel Schwass will play at five-eighth with Karl Lawton, strong there earlier in the season, staying at hooker.
