Our Gold Training under-20s coach Ben Woolf will have to wait to see how his three under-20s State of Origin players get through tomorrow night’s match at Suncorp Stadium and wait for some late in the week medical checks before being able to confirm his side to take on Manly this weekend.

The Holden Cup clash will take place at Pizzey Park at 1pm on Sunday rather than as the usual curtain-raiser for the NRL clash, with the NRL game being played on Monday night at 7pm at Cbus Super Stadium.

Brian Kelly (NSW), Oshae Tuiasau and Karl Lawton (both Queensland) will have to get through tomorrow night’s match. Forwards Nathan Watts and Anthony Colman may also come into contention if cleared to return from injury in the next couple of days.

The team will be out to continue their good form after the win against the then fourth-placed Sydney Roosters before the bye. The Sea Eagles are running fifth.
