Lachlan Burr will replace the injured Greg Bird (quad) for the last home game of the season against St George Illawarra at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday (4pm kick-off).
Burr returns from a one-match suspension to wear the number 13 jersey of Bird who hasn’t given up hope of being fit for the last clash of the year, against North Queensland in Townsville.
Dave Taylor, one of several players making their farewell appearances at their home stadium, has been elevated to the starting line-up to replace Ryan James who has taken an early plea and copped a one-match suspension.
Daniel Mortimer has been selected at five-eighth with Bird and Aidan Sezer injured, while Kierran Moseley will make his return on the bench as back up hooker to Beau Falloon.
