The Schwass twins, Daniel and Hayden, will return to Burleigh Bears for more experience in the Intrust Super Cup, forcing some changes to the Gold Training under-20s side to take on St George Illawarra on Sunday (1.45pm kick-off).

Fortunately halfback and playmaker Braydon Torpy will return from a week out due to a hip injury and coach Ben Woolf will reward the team that returned to winning form against Canterbury Bulldogs at Gosford on Sunday.

So Torpy will regain his No. 7 jersey with Karl Lawton playing five-eighth again, and Josh Berkers will start in the second row in Hayden Schwass’ place.

Anthony Colman returns to the bench after two games with Tweed Heads in the Intrust Super Cup. Zac Spring is still sidelined with a back injury which means Tyronne Roberts Davis, who scored a hat-trick of tries against the Raiders to bring his tally to six tries from five games this season, retains his spot on the right wing.

Coach Ben Woolf has picked a six-player bench in his provisional side with last Sunday’s debutant Simione Fatefahi and recent newcomer Jerome Veve included.
