Aquis Gold Coast Titans skipper Nate Myles has played his last match for the club after being ruled out of Saturday night’s final clash of the season against North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville.

There was more damage than first thought and the injury has not responded well enough to treatment so the Manly-bound international prop will not be able to recover in time after missing Sunday’s last home game of 2015, the two-point victory over St George Illawarra.

Coach Neil Henry has chosen an extended bench with some injury clouds over Eddy Pettybourne (ankle) who is in the biggest doubt, and several other players who picked up minor complaints last Sunday.

Fortunately Ryan James returns from a one-match suspension and will start in the front row. Matt Robinson and Leva Li have also been added to the 17 who took on the Dragons in the preliminary side.
