Departing Titans forward Ben Ridge has been awarded the Aquis Titans Community Award for his dedication to the club’s community work.

Ridge has been among the top five players when it comes to hours spent doing the club’s community work in every season since joining the NRL squad in 2009 and has devoted 325 hours to community work for the Titans.

He is an ambassador for Nerang junior rugby league and for Red Cross on the Gold Coast and often gives blood on his day off.

He has seen more than 11,000 children and travelled more than 15,000 km throughout Queensland and the NSW to spread the word across the community, always with a smile, and easy-going county nature.
