James says it's a Titans 'reboot'

Aquis Titans local boy Ryan James, who debuted in 2010, says the new coaching staff and big player turnover has added new enthusiasm to the squad.

James, one of the team's strong trainers in the first week of pre-season, says his shoulder that troubled him during the season seems fine and he can't wait for the season to come around.

"It's hard to remember everyone's name there are so many new players," he said of the squad which includes newcomers in the under-20s as well as the NRL squad.

He is also a new father with wife Ana presenting him with a baby boy last week and it has added another new dimension to his life.

There has been still room for some golf and he gives a form guide on some of his teammates.
