The Aquis Gold Coast Titans are pleased to welcome TripADeal as our upper back of jersey sponsor for the next two years – and their alliance with the club is set to bring a wide range of benefits for our members and fans.
And their backing of the Titans on the eve of the 2016 season took the amount of sponsorship income committed to the Titans in the past 12 months to about $10 million, an enormous showing of confidence in the future of the club. TripADeal are Byron Bay-based, in the footprint of the Titans development region, and are developing quickly as a major player in the travel sector.
After entering the travel market in 2011, TripADeal’s explosive growth has seen them become one of the fastest growing travel businesses in Australia, and with their heavily discounted global travel deals it’s easy to see why they have become so popular.
As part of their agreement, Kane Elgey will be TripADeal's ambassador under a 'marquee player allowance' deal which played a major role in the Titans being able to keep the local halfback on the Gold Coast.
Managing director and co-founder Norm Black cites “community” as the core driver of the Titans partnership.
“We’re passionate about our local community, which for us extends from the Northern Rivers up to the Gold Coast where many of our local club players are now represented,” he said.
“Personally, we love footy and getting the family to games, so it’s a real buzz to see the players wearing the TripADeal logo on their jerseys.”
Co-founder and director Richard Johnston added: “The TripADeal team will be at all our home games this season with some exciting holiday giveaways, so fans should make sure they keep an eye out for them at the stadium and get in the draw on game day.”
Aquis Titans CEO Graham Annesley welcomes TripADeal as a valued addition to our corporate team, with their backing completing the acquisitions of all positions available on the NRL team’s playing apparel. They join naming rights sponsor Aquis, Ladbrokes, TFH, LEDified and James Frizelle’s Automotive Group.
“We couldn't be happier with the TripADeal partnership,” Mr Annesley said. “In many ways we share a lot of similarities. Both the Titans and TripADeal are young dynamic organisations with high expectations of future success.
“This partnership provides a tremendous opportunity to work together over the coming years as we assist each other to grow exponentially.
“I'm very happy to welcome TripADeal to the Titans family for what promises to be a very exciting future together.”
To celebrate the partnership with the Aquis Gold Coast Titans, TripADeal is giving away a Paradise Island getaway for two people at our round five match against the Broncos. To enter the competition simply click here and come along to the match.
