Daniel Mortimer was due to have an MRI scan late today on the hamstring tear he suffered moments before half-time against the Dragons last Saturday so it is still unknown how long he might be sidelined, although he will definitely miss this Saturday’s clash with the Bulldogs.

X-rays found that Eddy Pettybourne did not fracture his finger that was dislocated against the Dragons. He has it in a splint and has been chosen as 18th man for this weekend’s game, although his progress will be checked during the week.

Ash Taylor, who left the field two minutes form the end with concussion, has trained well hit will go through the normal protocols but is likely to play against the Bulldogs.

Prop Nathaniel Peteru had a successful return from a knee injury with Burleigh Bears, scoring two tries.
