Ash Taylor will be monitored in coming days to see how his injury responds but is unlikely to be fit to play against Melbourne Storm on Sunday.

It appears he suffered some nerve damage below the rib damage after first being thought it may have been appendicitis or another complaint.

Daniel Mortimer is back to light running after suffering a hamstring tear in the round seven clash with the Dragons and will not play this weekend.

Prop Nathaniel Peteru miss Burleigh Bears’ game against PNG Hunters yesterday because of an adductor injury but hopes to be fine to play this weekend, will have a fitness test later in the week.
