Big Aquis Titans says he wants to maintain the aggression he showed against the Roosters - and needs to against the in-form Panthers on Sunday.

"I was happy to play better on the weekend. The team needs me at my best; I knew I had another level in me to play better than I had been this year; I was a bit inconsistent before then," he said.

"I was pretty disappointed to miss out on that Melbourne game; it was a bit of a shock but had to cop it on the chin but have the right attitude and train hard and fight my way back into the team and when I have the next opportunity show my worth."

His performance against the Roosters lies with his effort against his other former club, Canberra, as his best in 2016 but he knows his responsibility is to maintain the rage on the field - and for all the experienced Titans pack to repeat the dominant performance of Monday night.

Shillo also endorsed the form of Ryan James and described him as "a captain in the making here" and claimed the performance of halves Ash Taylor and Tyrone Roberts was their best of the season.
