Luke Douglas fronted the media to talk about Sunday's tough clash with the Panthers at Pepper Stadium.

The iron man front-rower has been in good form, coming off the bench and playing few minutes than previously but putting a lot of quality into his work.

He spoke about the need to quickly developing an understanding and combination with new hooker Nathan Peats.

"Hopefully today and the captain's run we will be able to get some combination and get to know how he plays and passes, but I might do some video on him too," Douglas said.

"The Panthers are pretty good across the paddock, and have been playing good football, as soon as they get that quick one [play the ball] they offload and they run with strike-power with Soward and Cartwright."
