Gold Training under-20s coach Ben Woolf will stick with the same team that was successful in atrocious conditions in Sydney last weekend when the young Titans take on Parramatta at Ringrose Park on Sunday (3pm).

The 14-12 victory against the Rabbitohs with a side that included five debutants, four who have come through our elite player development unit, was full of character and the side deserves running out again.

“I was very happy with how the boys performed against Souths and again we had some new players to the team who showed they can handle NYC footy,” said Woolf.

“We have a couple of our senior players in Kurt Bernard (lower back) and maybe Jed Cartwright (shoulder) who might come into contention later in the week but if not everyone deserved their spot.

“The conditions were awful in Sydney but our kicking game and commitment was excellent. The win keeps us in touch with the top eight but the Eels are running fourth and will be tough to beat.”

The young Titans have moved to one point behind eighth placed St George Illawarra.
