We take our weekly Backs v Forwards challenge to the maths board and the little men - Nathan Friend and Cameron Cullen - do battle.

You’d think these would be easy ...

1.       What us the square root of 81?

2.       You have to lay pavers in your backyard. The area measures 7m x 3.5m metres. How many square metres of pavers do you need?

3.       We have 15 players going fishing tomorrow. Greg Bird catches the most fish with eight, Will Zillman had four on the line but one got away, and the rest of the boys landed 12 between them. What was the average catch – to the nearest half of a fish?

We had to decide the winner on a technicality!
