Around 800 people came together for one of the biggest social events on the Gold Coast, the annual Aquis Titans’ charity ball, at RACV Royal Pines resort on Saturday night.

With the Titans having a bye weekend, the playing squad were able to have a night out their partners and mingle with guests who included a Who’s Who of the Gold Coast.

Ronald McDonald House were the charity recipient for a third year, continuing the close relationship between the parties. While it is too early to be determined how much money will be raised for Ronald McDonald House, it will be a significant contribution.

This was the 10th annual ball, every one sponsored by Audi Australia and the Audi Centre Gold Coast/James Frizelle’s Automotive Group, with well over $1 million raised for selected charities.

 The major auction items were:

·        An Audi A5 TFSI provided by the Audi Centre Gold Coast – which went for $70,000.

·        A 25 per cent leasehold in an Aquis Farms filly, by Australian sire Fastnet Rock from the Woodman mare Suitely, which sold on the night for $34,500;

·        A private jet to a Hamilton Island Getaway and accommodation on the island ($14,500).

·        A VIP weekend for two at for the annual Audi Hamilton Island race week in August courtesy of Audi Centre Gold Coast ($11,000).

·        A 16-day of Classic China holiday for two ($10,000).
