Ash Taylor revealed today he feels refreshed from his two weekends off his legs and is keen to play his part in the run home to the finals.

Taylor missed the clash in Auckland against the Warriors butting up to last weekend's bye and says he is looking forward to reuniting with Tyrone Roberts against the Dragons on Friday night.

The 21-year-old halfback had a light morning with his training at Pizzey Park but will be into the full schedule tomorrow.

"I'm really looking forward to playing and getting back out on the park and doing the best for the boys," he said.

"I got to go back home to spend time with my family and it was really good to get the week off and rest.

"The mindset in the team is that this is the run home now, it's an important time of the season and we need to get some wins under our belts, and that starts this weekend."
