The Gold Training under-20s expect to have Josh Rogers back from injury to take on the St George Illawarra Dragons on Friday afternoon.

Rogers, the Perth-born five-eighth, will ease his way back into the side on the bench if he passes a fitness test later in the week with Josh Ralph and AJ Brimson retained in the halves.

Big forward Apiata Noema-Matenga did enough in his debut off the bench against the Warriors to be named in the starting line-up at lock, with Kelepi Faukafa dropping back to the bench.

The Dragons have crept up to fifth spot on the ladder since they were beaten by the Titans in round seven while the Titans are five points out of the top eight, needing victory.

Brian Kelly will be asked to back up from tomorrow night’s NSW v Queensland under-20s Origin clash where he will play on the wing, from where he scored four tries in last year’s clash. Jed Cartwright has been in camp with the young Blues but will be 18th man.
