As the Aquis Titans prepare to take on the Cronulla Sharks and put an end to their 15-match winning streak in Monday night's clash, lock Greg Bird gives an insight into some of their players

It has been eight years since Bird played for the Sharks but he still remains good friends with Paul Gallen, Wade Graham, Luke Lewis and Michael Ennis.

Bird said he is looking forward to taking on his mates but the focus must remain on getting the job done for the Titans as they make their charge to their first finals series since 2010.

"It's always fun coming up against your mates, especially in the middle. It’s always a bit rough and tough, you take a hit and cop a hit and laugh it off but you always want to get that physical dominance over your mates," he said.

And in a little known fact, Bird and Ennis played junior footy together in the Hunter region. Check out the full video to find out if Ennis has changed since those early days.
