Jarryd Hayne will make his run-on debut for the Aquis Titans in the only change to the starting side for Saturday's Round 23 NRL match against Wests Tigers.

Satisfied with his club debut off the bench against the New Zealand Warriors, head coach Neil Henry has handed Hayne the five-eighth role for the important clash at Campbelltown Stadium.

"Jarryd has played a fair bit of footy in the 6, it’s something that he was quite keen to do as a way of getting into the team anyway because he has to call some plays and get his hands on the ball a bit more.”

Cameron Cullen will provide ball-playing support off the interchange bench while Ryan Simpkins is also part of an extended reserves list.

And club captain Nathan Friend, also named on an extended bench, is set to make a return from a hamstring injury.

“Friendy is a good chance at being available, he ran the other day and was pain free, we need to give him a contact and ball work session and see how he pulls up. Hopefully he is available for selection and if he is we will have to make another decision.”
