One is a former Titan playing for the Broncos, the other is a former Bronco playing for the Titans. Both have not missed a match in two seasons and both can beat the defensive line with their elusiveness.

Josh Hoffman and James Roberts go head to head on Friday night and their match up will certainly have a bearing on the match.

‘Jimmy the Jet’ as he named himself, centre of the year and scorer of 16 tries as a Titans last year, hasn’t quite replicated that form in ’16 although Titans and Broncos fans know what he can produce and he was strong in the first half of the clash between the sides at Cbus Super Stadium in round 5.

‘Hoffy’ has been in tremendous form this season and his kick-return 90-metre try against the Warriors in round 17 (when playing fullback) typified what attacking skills and pace he still possesses.

Theirs is one of several fascinating and crucial clashes in the M1 derby.
