One of the world’s leaders in management and elite high performance, Dr. Andy Walshe, is flying to Australia to present one of his renowned talks to business, sporting and community leaders on 9 December.

Dr. Walshe is the Red Bull High Performance Director and was the mastermind behind Felix Baumgartner’s record-breaking jump to Earth from the stratosphere in 2012.

On 9 December, the Aquis Gold Coast Titans will present Dr. Walshe at Griffith University’s Gold Coast Campus, where he will share his insights about the physical, mental and human potential and how he has helped many international organisations and leaders to push their own limits.

Titans Chief Operating Officer, Tony Mestrov, says Dr Walshe will also speak with Titans coaching staff during his visit.

“We are very pleased that Dr. Walshe will be flying from the US to the Gold Coast for this presentation,” Mestrov said.

“He’s one of the world’s leading high performance directors, and has presented to global organisations such as NASA and Virgin as well as some of the biggest sporting teams on the planet.

“To have him coming to Australia and particularly the Gold Coast for this presentation, is a great opportunity for other local and national organisations and sporting teams to gain a valuable insight into world-best practices that have produced record-breaking results.

“We’ve already been contacted by organisations and sporting teams from Queensland and interstate, who plan on sending representatives from various departments to this event.

“As a club we are always striving to improve and I think what we learn from our time with Dr. Walshe will be an invaluable experience.”55

Duncan Free, Director of the Griffith Sports College from Griffith University said it will be an honour to have Dr. Walshe present at the Gold Coast campus.

“Redbull are very well known for their extreme sports, high performance, innovation, pushing limits and breaking new ground. At the end of the day, that’s what it takes to be successful in any aspect of ones life, not only sport.”

Dr. Walshe will give his presentation at the Griffith University Gold Coast Campus on 9 December from 7am to 9am.
