Aquis Gold Coast Titans CEO Graham Annelsey says the club is nothing like the one he first walked into three years ago, which is why there is so much excitement around the 2017 Telstra Premiership season.

Annelsey has spoken on EON Radio this morning and says the club has come a long way over recent years both on and off the field and the move to the TFH High Performance Centre at Parkwood is helping the club prepare better than ever for an NRL season.

"I've been here three years now and I have to say the first 18 months I don't want to relive," Annesley said.

"To know the NRL is behind us and wants to sell us to a consortium who wants to see us on the Gold Coast long-term is very comforting.

"We've got some great long-term sponsors, new governance and an independent baord that has the club's best interests at heart.

"We've really got a brand new club."

Annesley also spoke about how the players are enjoying their new home, and have galvanised as a group following last week's pre-season trip to Canungra.
